Moon CyclesNew Moon and Full Moon Reiki Activations

What are moon cycles?

The moon moves through its phases about every 29.5 days, from the dark of the new moon to the full light of the full moon and back again. That rhythm has been used for thousands of years as a way of marking time, and many people still use it to check in with themselves.

Each month I record a Reiki activation for the new moon and the full moon. This page gathers them in one place, so you can find the one that matches the moment you're in.

Astrology is a symbolic tradition, and I use it as a calendar for reflection, not as prediction. None of this is medical or clinical advice.

The six-month pairing

A new moon in a sign opens a door, and about six months later the moon is full in that same sign. The two moons sit on opposite sides of the year: when the new moon is in Aries, the Sun is in Aries too, and when the full moon is in Aries six months later, the Sun is in Libra, directly across the wheel.

I've started to work with this deliberately. When I record a new moon activation, I'm planting something, and I'm keeping an eye on the full moon in the same sign six months on, when what was begun has a chance to come into the light. The two activations are meant to be heard as a pair.

One example is the wounded healer. Release the Armor and Come Home was the new moon in Aries in April 2026, and After the Armor was the full moon in Aries in September 2026. It works the other way around too. The full moon in Libra in March 2026 and the new moon in Libra in October 2026 sit six months apart.

As more of these pairs complete, the connections will become easier to see. Listening to a pair together is optional, and each activation also stands on its own.

A gentle way to use the moon

There is no right way. This is one gentle way to begin.

1. Notice where the moon is in its cycle: dark and beginning, or full and peaking.
2. Choose the new moon or full moon activation that matches, or the one you are most curious about.
3. Find a quiet spot where you can sit or lie down for the length of the video.
4. Listen the way that feels steady for you. If you drift off, that is allowed.
5. Afterward, take a few quiet minutes, and write down anything you want to remember.

Every activation is timeless, so you can come back to any of them whenever you like.
